HiveAn independent proposal for Epic

FOR EPIC / COMPLEMENTARY EVIDENCE

AI assurance.
Meet decision-time
evidence.

Model evaluation and event evidence answer different questions. Explore a checkable record of what was reported, what changed and what still needs human review.

Independent proposal. Synthetic evidence. No Epic integration, endorsement or customer relationship. This page is not access-controlled.

COMPLEMENT, NOT REPLACEMENT

Two useful questions.
Two different kinds of evidence.

EPIC AI TRUST AND ASSURANCE

Is this model performing appropriately?

Epic's suite supports ongoing evaluation of model performance, fairness, drift and clinical impact. Its published work also includes assessment of AI-generated patient summaries.

HIVE SIGNED EVIDENCE

What can this particular record establish?

Check the integrity of a recorded action, its stated context and links. Explore how later corrections could be examined without silently replacing the original history.

  • Recorded source and model references
  • Disclosure and custody evidence
  • Explicit limits, gaps and unknowns

WORKING DEMONSTRATION / ORIGINAL SIGNED FIXTURE

One recorded chart access.
Try changing the story.

Change the requester, purpose or timestamp. The browser checks the modified record against the original signature. Restore it to see the original check pass again.

The value is the boundary.

A valid signature tells a reviewer that the signed bytes match. It does not prove an access actually occurred, that every access was captured or that the stated purpose was legitimate.

This fictional record is signed with a Hive-held demonstration key. An independent verifier is not the same as an independent witness.

OBSERVATIONAL SIDECAR / FAIL-OPEN

Keep clinical systems
in control.

The proposed integration observes scoped records alongside the workflow. It does not approve a clinical decision or become a dependency for patient care. If Hive is unavailable, work continues and the evidence gap remains explicit.

Existing systemsClinical authority retained

No live Epic connection. Data minimization, source coverage, key custody and access controls require an agreed design.

FREE / SCOPED / SYNTHETIC DATA

Choose one interaction.
Test the evidence together.

Agree one workflow and one correction scenario. Evaluate the original context, linked change, verification results and unresolved questions before considering any integration.

Proposal, not partnership. Hive is not affiliated with or endorsed by Epic. Synthetic examples do not establish clinical validity, complete capture, regulatory compliance, causation or existing hospital deployments. The path “/private/” does not provide access control.
