What's metered
IDENTITY-PER-ATTEST bills per attestation, priced at $0.01 per attestation, confirmed by the live endpoint. Anything smaller than a normal invoice line becomes chargeable on its own.
What the receipt covers
Each signed receipt covers one identity attestation ceremony, so a $0.01 KYC check comes with a signed record of what was actually attested, portable across chains.
The Circle complement
Circle's flow authorizes payment for the attestation. It does not prove the identity check itself was performed correctly. Hive's receipt signs the ceremony. Circle Nanopayments enables gas-free USDC transfers as small as $0.000001 by batching offchain authorizations into one onchain settlement, per Circle's Nanopayments documentation.
